Why does the American government not just send voter ID cards to everyone? Why is the current administration pushing this ridiculous SAVE Act? We all know why. We currently have an administration in place that is trying to destroy democracy, one demographic at a time. This time they’re coming for white women. Now why it seems as if the majority of white women don’t know the SAVE Act is targeted at them, I don’t know. They are not only the most married group of women in the USA, they are also the group of married women most likely to change their name when they get married.
So they will be the ones most impacted because their ID will not match their birth certificate.
Also contrary to popular belief, most white Americans are not rich and do not travel internationally. Many don’t already have a passport. We all should be pissed about this (while also getting our ducks in a row just-in-case) but this is the group that really should be up in arms about it. Yet they’re not, not even white feminist groups are raising hell about it. Hmmmmmm.
