Yes you saw that right, I got Brian a unicycle! I think my husband had a good Father’s Day. I held in this surprise for 2 weeks! I’m gonna get one for myself, this will be so much fun! I also got him safety gear (knee pads, wrist pads, etc.) because we are middle-aged folks LOL! Happy Father’s Day my love. And of course he was super-stoked to have all of our grown kids at home for the day. It was awesome!! They got him lovely presents also, and I made his favorite stir-fry for dinner followed by ice cream cake. Washed down with lovely drinks! Lovely, lovely day and he felt very loved an appreciated. As he should, because he’s a great dad!
We hung out on the porch for most of the afternoon just talking and laughing, it was so much fun. Then it was time to open the presents!
By nightfall we were all tuckered out. Brian and I didn’t want them to leave! We had our usual long, drawn-out goodbye in the kitchen, that was kind of bittersweet. But overall wonderful, wonderful day!
