I loved this song so much but couldn’t recall the name, the band, or enough of the lyrics to scrounge anything off google. Here’s the bit of the lyrics I could remember:

And that was it! It was all dudes I think, and came out in ‘92 or ‘93. Alternative type song. It ocurred to me to post about it on reddit, and I got a response right away, with the name of the song! It’s “You don’t understand” by The House of Love. I cannot express how psyched I was. It absolutely made my day. 30 years I’ve wondered off and on about this song!
