Any time I talk to conspiracists I ask, Ok so who is behind it and what is their motivation? 9/10 they won’t answer, because of course the next question is going to be: Ok so show me the evidence. The 1/10 there is an answer, it is 100% the Jews (yet with zero evidence). Seriously, it has never failed in my entire adult life of talking to theorists (of any race/color and/or religion) who have bizarre conspiracy ideas that the ‘conspiracy’ didn’t drill down to being the fault of Jewish people. It’s really, really bizarre how much the world hates Jewish people. I have even talked to Jewish people who believe this and that the only solution for them is to become Christian; to literally discard their religion and culture. I suppose I should be understanding because I know there are black people just as crazy, who have internalized racism to such an extent they hate themselves and other black people and don’t want to be black anymore, as well as white people who experience white guilt to such an extent that they think self-hate or race-abnegation is the only solution to absolve past and current racism. Yet though I understand these people exist I don’t understand them or their insane, delusional thinking.
