Ironically I saw the news on youtube while watching an old video of Proud Mary! I was watching the clip of Beyonce dancing as a little girl that then showed how she used the same moves in her epic Super Bowl performance with Brun Mars. Something about it reminded me of Tina Turner, who I have always loved so much. So pulled up one of my favorite songs, Proud Mary. Then the upcoming videos changed, and all I saw in the lineup was tribute videos to Tina Turner. IKYFL was my natural, first response, but it turned out to be true. Tina Turner has passed away. I loved everything about her; her life story is filled with epic triumphs and talent was just so raw and pure. The world is a dimmer place today, because that bright light is gone. May she Rest in Peace.
